ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
Success isn’t given. It’s earned. On the track, on the field, in the gym. With blood, sweat and the occasional tears”.
Apart from teaching good values such as, sportsmanship, proper spirit of competition, team-spirit, co-operation, discipline in the field, etc. Annual Sports Day makes school life lively, interesting, enjoyable and memorable. The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held in SR Global School on Sunday, 16th Feb 2020 with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.


The programme began with the Principal Mrs. Aruna Suresh welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports in a child's life. The chief guest, Mr Megh Chand Meena (Retired Additional IPS)and Principal Madam Mrs.Aruna Suresh, inaugurated the sports day by releasing the balloons, also took the salute of the impressive March Past and the Guard of Honor of the torch bearers, coupled with some stirring marching music by the band. This was the highly competitive event where the four houses Concurrence, Radiance, Valour and Splendor eyed for the first place. The displays made way for the highly awaited athletic events where competitiveness among the students soared through the roof.

The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. They participated in large numbers in engaging and innovative races become a leader race, magician race, santa race, slow cycling race, zig zag race, lemon &spoon race, three legged race, fill the bottle race, balancing the pots, and many more races mesmerizing the audience with their energetic performances. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
Students of different classes competed in events including sprints, relays, sack race, Hurdle race, and skipping race. Fun time with parents, teaching and non-teaching staff added to the enjoyment. The Cock House trophy was announced and the rolling trophy was given to the winning house Splender House.
