RECITATION COMPETITION

The Pre-Primary students of our school were very excited for Diwali for which they all participated in the Rhyme competition on the topic "Diwali Celebration".



The students had come dressed as per their theme. All were immensely pleased by the cute little ones.
Principal ma'am Aruna Suresh appreciated them and applauded all for their efforts and confidence.


DIWALI CELEBRATION

Welcoming the festival of lights, students of S R GLOBAL School unfolded their creative abilities in a string of activities on Thursday. 


The day began with the special assembly conducted by the students of class-9th which included a wonderful song, a dance performance as well as  a NUKKAD Natak giving a message of "SAVE ENVIRONMENT" from the pollution of smoke spread by crackers.


It was done under the supervision of Ms. Sonia Baijal. on this auspicious occasion principal ma'am Aruna Suresh inspired the students to celebrate Eco-friendly DEEPAWALI.

  • Inter school competitions were held in Gyan Vihar School on 19 October, 2019 in which our school has won various prizes.

      1.  PIN BOARD COMPETITION (CLASS: 7 & 8) : SECOND PRIZE.
           Students were: Laavanya Singh, Muskan Kumawan, Shivani Sharma, Ishika Gate and                                         Chanchal Biloniya


      2. MAGAZINE COVER DESIGNING (CLASS:9): FIRST PRIZE.
          Students were: Sapna Sharma and Tanishka Tatiwal


  • SGFI District level tournament was organized in Jaipur on 20 October,2019 in which students of different levels participated in various sports..
  1. VOLLEY BALL: Shafi Ullah Khan of class 12th is selected for State Level.
  2. HIGH JUMP (UNDER-19) : Avdhesh Choudhary of class 12th won FIRST POSITION                                                        with a Gold Medal and selected for National Level.
  3. HIGH JUMP (UNDER-17) : Archit Meena secured SECOND POSITION with a Silver                                                        Medal.
  4. Archit Meena also secured THIRD POSITION with a Bronze medal in CBSE Clusters.

VEDIC MATHS WORKSHOP
A Vedic Maths workshop was organized in the school for classes 6-9 on 23 October 2019. Here mathematician Mr. Naveen Bhargava guided the students with the methods of vedic maths for making the calculations easy. He guided the students for finding the squares and cubes of different numbers with the wink of an eye.The students took a lot of interest and answered the questions asked by Mr. Naveen quickly. After the workshop the students were having positive response and they were able to solve the mathematical calculations at the same time when the question was given to them. 


At the end Principal ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh paid her gratitude to the guests for guiding the students.

FANCY DRESS COMPETITION


Fancy Dress competition was held on 19 October 2019 in our school. It was mainly for classes 1 to V. Children had presented themselves in various attractive attire. They were so enthusiastic and full of passion to give their best. 


It was indeed a wonderful show which was ended with a vote of thanks by our honorable principal ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh. She congratulated the participants and appreciated the efforts of teachers and parents as well.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY
On 17 October 2019,the students of class-10 B presented a special assembly in which a skit on the theme "DIRT FREE INDIA" under the guidance of the class teacher Ms. Rani Agarwal. The skit was enthusiastic participants who delivered their message through attractive slogans like "GREEN CITY, CLEAN CITY" etc. Principal ma'am Ms. Aruna Suresh was impressed by the initiative taken by the class. 


The skit has a very good concept of including characters like Ministers, voters and opposition leaders which kept the students engrossed in the play.

MOTHER AND DAUGHTER AWARENESS PROGRAM
 

Our school has organized Mother and Daughter awareness program by Procter & Gamble (P&G) to extend the impact of its flagship educational ‘Mother-Daughter Menstrual Health & Hygiene’ program  to collaborate on increasing awareness, acceptance and access of hygienic menstruation practices in India. 


This is in line with our efforts to increase awareness and acceptance of healthy menstruation practices, and our vision to achieve 100% menstrual hygiene in India.


Our school organizes this program every year to make girls aware about menstrual hygiene.

TRUTH IS ALWAYS VICTORIOUS

S R Global school celebrated the festival “DUSSEHRA” on 5th October 2019 in school with a lot of religious zeal and fervor.
To mark the victory of good over evil and to reinforce the messages that would always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt.


The pre-primary children were dressed up in traditional attire and danced to rhythmic tunes for the traditional “Dandiya – Raas Garba”.


The teachers narrated the story related with Dussehra and made students aware of it.

 “JOY OF GIVING” WEEK


Nothing in nature is for itself,

Giving and living for others is the way of life

 Truly giving from the heart fills our life with joy and nourishes our soul. True joy lies in the act of giving without an expectation of receiving something in return.

S R Global School has conducted "DAAN-UTSAV" a “Happy Dot” activity in reference to “Joy of Giving Week”.

S R Global School has conducted a special programme on “Joy of Giving” in the school. The programme started with a motivational thought followed by an inspiring brief about this noble activity delivered by Principal Ma’am.

Students of Class-1 to class-V are honoured and appreciated by Principal ma’am by giving “happy dot” stickers for their contribution in spreading happiness around them in the form of donation, contributing resource sharing time, love and helping the needy etc.


Students got a lot motivation, inspiration to inculcate the human value of “giving” in their daily life.

The school has also celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Gandhiji as “DAAN-UTSAV” by doing a waste audit and selling it in the market and the money collected was used to gift grocery to the maids, drivers, peons and gardeners of the school.

In order to mark the celebrations of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, activities are being carried out across the country in all the CBSE schools.
As per the CBSE guidelines S R Global School has organized some activities according to different levels.
1.  The primary section socialized the week by making cloth bags for the vendors by the students of class 6 to 8.

2.    Students of class 6 to 8 also wrote a letter to Bapu asking him about his strategies and decisions he took to attain freedom from British Rule.T he students of VIII standard did a fitness run to collect the plastic waste to make the zone plastic free zone.

3.  This activity came out lively when the kids of Kinder Garten stepped up the stage dressed as Gandhiji.



4. The school also conducted Quiz competition based on Gandhiji and his movements for classes 1 to 5.

The main  agenda behind conducting these activities was to celebrate  “Gandhi Jayanti” the third National festival of India and to promote teachings of Gandhiji and to sensitise the students towards the teachings of Gandhiji..
