Students of S.R Global School performed excellently in maths Olympiads conducted by SOF (2019-20) Olympiads motivate students to endeavor for better and deeper understanding of scientific facts so as to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. The students were felicitated by Honorable Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh with medals and certificates of IMO (International Maths Olympiad).

Women “This beautiful creation of the God”! The angel on the earth makes our life a wonderful experience all together. Imagining life without a woman is quite impossible. This angel shakes the cradle with one hand and the earth with the other hand, so versatile she is. It is a well established fact that the all great people of world are born from the womb of woman and it is she who taught them the first alphabet of their lives. Therefore all the teachings are the best blessings of the women.

With this spiritual and practical thought S R Global School Celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2020 as 8^th March 2020 is Sunday. The program started with prayer and Saksham Choudhary of class VII gave a wonderful speech and girls of class VIII recited a beautiful   poem “TUM KHOOBSURAT HO” and this was followed by a melodious song sung by Jitendra sir and his team.  

After that Honorable Principal Madam Mrs. Aruna Suresh addressed all females and encourage them to enjoy every moment of life with great enthusiasm and zeal.

To conclude the day Principal ma’am and all the women staff of the school cut the cake and celebrated the day in a grand way.

Awareness Session on Corona Virus

Awareness Session on Corona Virus 

S R Global School (Now a part of Central Academy ) organized an awareness Session for the students to create awareness among students about Corona virus as per the CBSE Board’s guidelines   . The session was conducted by the principal Ms.Aruna Suresh. She shared in details about the preventive interventions such as frequent hand wash, respiratory etiquettes (using handkerchief over mouth while coughing/ sneezing, use of tissue paper or using the sleeve of shirt covering upper arm, staying away from school when sick, avoiding public gathering etc) which will help in preventing/ reducing transmission of this disease as there is no medication or vaccination available at present. She also shared few pressure points to get relief from cough and cold.This Session made this such informed children the agents of change for their family, community and beyond. The responsibility of passing on the preventive measures was taken by the students.

The session was very informative and students cleared their doubts asking many queries. The students were very eager to take up the responsibility and promised that they will do their share of this good work to their best possibilities.

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

“Science has always been the solution to end all the problems and remain as the tool for us to achieve the Indian dream of leading the world as a superpower.”

Today 28^th Feb 2020 is celebrated as National Science Day to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian Physicist Sir C.V Raman.

 S R Global School celebrated this day with great zeal and enthusiasm and organized a ‘Science Project Making Activity’ where in students of classes I to VIII showed their skills by making different working models and non-working models from the waste material found in the school.

The topics covered were Water cycle, Drone, Drill machine, Water fountain, Lightning Conductor, Electricity generation with the help of windmill and water energy. They also made Bio- models showing respiratory system, functioning of lungs and heart under the observation of teachers. Students made various models on “Rain Water Harvesting” for the conservation of water in future.  

The overall activity was very useful, educative and innovative.The participating students, teachers and the Principal Ma’am were really impressed to see the hidden talent of the students.

Students of S.R Global School performed excellently in various Olympiads conducted by SOF (2019-20).

Somya Choudhary of Class –III has achieved Zonal Rank 8 in National Science Olympiad for which she has been given medal of distinction.   

 Olympiads motivate students to endeavor for better and deeper understanding of scientific facts so as to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. The students were felicitated by Honorable Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh with medals and certificates of IGKO (General knowledge), IEO (English Olympiad) and NSO (Science Olympiad).
